0 Play the confirmation number
and launch the next dictation.
1 Go to the beginning of the
dictation play.
2 Start record.
3 Go to the end and stop.
4 Incremental rewind.
5 Pause.
6 Incremental fast forward.
7 Play.
8 Launch the next dictation.
9 End the session and disconnect.

Accessing "Member Login"

  • Located at www.emeraldtranscription.com.
  • Click on Client log in (upper right)
  • Access with your account number and PIN.

To dictate by telephone

  • Dial the toll free dictation number 1 (866) 625-6412.
  • Enter your account number and PIN when prompted to do so followed by the # sign.
  • Press 1 to begin dictating immediately, dictate at the tone.
  • Use keypad commands (shown here) to navigate dictation.
  • When you are finished, you can hang up and your job will be submitted.
  • If you would like to end one job and begin another, press the 0 and dictate your next report.

To upload dictated computer (.wav) or digital dictation files

  • Go to Client Login and enter your account number and PIN.
  • Click on Audio Upload folder and click on select files.
  • Retrieve files on your computer and click upload.

Checking the status of your job

  • Go to the Client Login area and enter your account number and PIN.
  • Click on Completed Folder.
  • Place a check in the box on the files you want or check select all and click download selected files.
